Hi All. Just picked up some lovely jersey fabrics \u2013 plain and prints.<\/p>\n

I feel inspired to make a few tube dresses \u2013 nice and cosy for the winter worn with boots and woolly tights. I\u2018ll post some pics when I\u2019ve made them.<\/p>\n

Stretch jersey fabric is not as difficult to sew as you might think.\u00a0 Some people seem to have a bit of a phobia about working with anything stretchy, but as long as you use the correct stitches, needles and threads it isn\u2019t bad at all! \u00a0 I currently run a few courses that incorporate different types of stretch fabrics, for instance my Stretch Top Workshop; Knicker Making (where you have an option of using stretch or woven fabrics); and my Child\u2019s Fleece Top Workshop.<\/p>\n

As promised, the pics of my lovely fleece jacket.\u00a0 I\u2019m really pleased with it.\u00a0 The asymmetrical front and hemline make it look quite unusual.<\/p>\n
